Peter Knight
Peter Knight taught Art at several Jersey Schools and his last full time position was at Grainville School as Head of Creative Arts. Wishing to spend more time on his own work he took on a part time position at Black's Academy as Director of Art. Leaving in July 2003 Peter now teaches and works from his own studio at home.
Peters predominant style is geometric hard edge painting using the local environment of Jersey as the main source of inspiration. However he also does large scale creative collage work which is in direct contrast to the painting. Recent commissions include a series of themed paintings for Leslie Norman Associates, a large triptych for Grady's Restaurant and five large murals for Bob Murray, owner of the newly restored Art Deco house, Les Lumieres.
